Biography
| Background |
I grew up in Illinois and Wisconsin. I moved to San Diego several years ago and graduated from San Diego State University. I obtained my multi-subject and single subject teaching credential. I have taught 2nd and 4th grade bilingual classes at the elementary school level. I have also taught ESL and bilingual Computer Applications at the adult school level. I currently work as a resource teacher for career and technical education in the Division of Adult Education at Sweetwater Union High School District. |

When I finish my masters degree in educational technology, I plan to apply to the Educational Leadership Program at SDSU. I hope to obtain my Administrative Services Credential and pursue a career in helping lead the educational community into the 21st century. One of my passions is to use my newly developed skills to help bridge the technology gap for English language learners. |
Other Interesting Things |
When I have time, I enjoy traveling to different countries. I have traveled extensively in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Also, I have visited Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and England. I hope to travel to the Central America, South America, Africa, and Asia soon. When I'm not working, I like to play basketball, golf, and chess. Also, I enjoy learning new languages. I am fluent in Spanish and am trying to learn French. |
